Levi X Reader: Levi's Diary (AU)laurasanya
September 2, 1996
Dear (your name),
I know it’s supposed to be ‘Dear Diary’, but I don’t want to keep these damm personal feelings for myself. I want you to know, so I’m writing to you.
Remember when you gave this diary to me? You told me to start writing on it after you would pass away and continue until I join you.
Well, today was the day you left me from this world. How dare you do this to me? You promised me you would never leave me! That we would be one happy family like you had always wanted. Why does this have to happen to me? Everytime I start getting close to or loving someone, something happens to them, and it’s usually not for the best. I had warned you. But you didn’t seem to care. Stupid brat.
You told me this morning you were going to be okay, that you were strong enough. I believed you, but everyone knew, including us, that your body was too weak. And now, I have to raise our daughter, Mikas

It was the first color shrouding your vision upon leaving the safety and comfort of your appointed abode, and the very last thing you wished to see given the meeting you were expected at today - well, meeting it the wrong word; it was a date. The snow you surmised to have fallen while you were slumbering completely covered the stone steps, and it crunched lightly under your feet when your cute boots stepped on every tread.
The glacial torrent occupied the scenery entirely, layering itself mercilessly on evergreen trees and brick roofs. It was a sight to marvel at, but you hadn't the time as you were already late at it is and surely the person eagerly awaiting your arrival would scold you relentlessly until your ears bled for it. That was only a mundane quality of the male you had to remissly toss aside or else it would trifle with the rest of his being - which to you was fine enough as it was.
Perhaps even more than just fine. If he wasn't what you wanted in a lover, you would'v

To be honest, you weren’t much of a sports person. At all, really. But something about watching the games was a lot more entertaining than playing them yourself.
You watched the ant-like players on the court below you from the upper level of the gym. Blurs of black, orange, and brown swooped across the floors, the squeaking of sneakers and shouts of the teammates echoing in your ears.
Letting out a small sigh, you leaned forward onto the metal railing as you continued to observe them and softly murmured to yourself: “The Karasuno volleyball team… huh?” They’d just recently formed, and they still had yet to play in any official matches. But still, as they leaped around and patted each other on the back, they looked like they were having fun. Ever since they’d gotten together you’d come to watch their practices from the same spot above the gym you were standing on now and left quietly when it ended. Maybe somewhere deep inside you wanted a group

Link watched as you lay on the solid rock platform, the fairies tending to your wounds. You looked angelic even when injured. How could this have happened? How...could he have let this happen?
The blonde swallowed the lump forming in his throat. He had promised himself he would protect you. From the moment you joined him on his journey. From the moment he knew you wouldn't leave his side, he had promised.
Now look at what happened. Was he sure he could protect you anymore? Or at all?
He mouthed a curse under his breath, choking back tears. He couldn't cry. Heroes don’t cry. But you both had been through so much together….and to see you like this…all because of him…
Link was lost in sorrowful thought, not noticing

(A.N: Vasuke is on O.C. I made for Zelda. She’s a Sheikah and in this story your best friend.)
You stood across from the mirror, adjusting your armor and looking back at yourself through the piece of stained metallic glass. You had a stoic expression, not smiling at yourself at all. It was a time of war, there would be time for posing and fooling later. That’s what you constantly told yourself, since you thought being focused on the task at hand was more important than lollygagging and laughing.
“(y/n) we’re lining up now. You ready?” your friend Vasuke popped her head into the small bunker for all the knights of Zelda’s army. You were alone, since everyone else was in the mess hall.
“Yeah,” you muttered, grabbing your katana from where it leaned on the wall. You gave Vasuke a weak smile and walked out the door with her.
You looked at the knights lined up near the gate in rows of single-file lines. Impa and Zelda were at the front,

“I got the firewood!” you heard Link call from the gates.
You smiled at him and waved him and Colin over, who was helping him with the firewood.
“Kids!” you called to Malo, Talo and Beth, who had been playing at the other side of the spring.
They ran over excitedly, rolling on the ground and striking funny poses. You giggled and helped Link with the firewood, taking a few branches off the top. You knew if you offered to take too many, Link would kindly refuse.
The kids sat around the campfire Link had created, eating the treats you had bought from the Castle Town shops. You knew it probably wasn’t the best idea, getting the kids treats after dark, but you, Link and the kids had been planning a night for a while now. How could you not bring treats?
“Hey! Do you guys remember when Link saved all of Hyrule?” Talo exclaimed excitedly for around the 50th time since everything went back to normal.
Everyone laughed, including Link who came to
